A well-established law firm is seeking an attorney to join its Healthcare & Long-Term Care Litigation Practice in Sacramento, CA.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 1–7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Experience in medical malpractice defense is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent a diverse range of healthcare providers, including hospitals, physicians, nurses, skilled nursing facilities, and mental health facilities.
• Work on cases involving elder abuse litigation, one of the fastest-growing areas of healthcare law.
• Collaborate with a nationally recognized team specializing in complex healthcare litigation.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar admission.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in healthcare law is a plus, but candidates with strong litigation backgrounds will also be considered.
