We are seeking an experienced Appellate Attorney with 4+ years of appellate experience to join our dynamic team in New York. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with one of the state’s leading litigation defense firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare appellants’ and respondents’ briefs.
- Compile necessary documents for the record or appendix on appeal (for appellant representation).
- Present oral arguments in appellate courts.
- Assist with summary judgment and post-trial motions.
- Provide litigation strategy support and trial assistance.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 4+ years of appellate experience in New York.
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience (medical malpractice defense preferred).
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
