A growing corporate defense firm with 7 attorneys is looking for an experienced defense litigator for an IMMEDIATE OPENING. This firm offers the opportunity to join a team of skilled trial lawyers and contribute to its expanding medical malpractice defense practice.

Position Overview:

• Focus on medical malpractice defense litigation
• Engage in all aspects of state and federal pretrial practice
• First and second chair trial experience is a plus
• Salary range: $130,000 – $180,000, depending on experience, plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage incoming cases
• Handle challenging pleadings
• Manage written discovery
• Conduct depositions
• Draft and argue motions

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar
• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in medical malpractice defense
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
