Are you an experienced defense attorney seeking a fulfilling career? Mission Recruiting proudly represents one of Sacramento’s most established law firms seeking a dedicated attorney to represent non-profits and religious organizations in general liability and employment matters.

The firm will not renew its lease expiring at the end of the summer, so qualified candidates must be comfortable working out of their home office and live within driving distance of Sacramento to attend bi-monthly meetings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active membership in the California Bar.
• Proven experience in defense litigation.
• Strong advocacy skills and a passion for protecting non-profits and religious organizations.
• Deep understanding of legal issues related to non-profits and religious institutions.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Reside within a reasonable driving distance of Sacramento, CA for bi-monthly meetings

Responsibilities:

• Defend non-profits and religious organizations in legal matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and develop effective defense strategies.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Maintain ethical standards and client confidentiality.
• Manage a team of legal professionals.
