Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Construction Litigation Attorney with 4-7 years of relevant litigation experience. We encourage those with more or less to apply. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate a broad spectrum of construction-related disputes and complex litigation matters.
- Handle cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Conduct depositions, present arguments at hearings, attend mediations and assist in trials.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys for guidance and strategic case development.
- Maintain strong client relationships, offering legal counsel tailored to the sophisticated needs of contractors, trades, governmental bodies, and high net-worth individuals.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
- Active bar membership in Florida, in good standing.
- 4-7 years of construction litigation and complex litigation experience; candidates with more senior experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proven ability to manage cases with strong analytical, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $145,000 to $175,000+, depending on experience.
- Performance-based bonus structure tied to billed and collected hours.
- Minimum billing requirement: 1,800 hours annually.
