We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy (c/d/p) practice group in San Francisco, CA, focusing on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation, including consumer protection issues and defending data privacy and security class actions. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior associate to take on a leadership role in an expanding, award-winning practice and work on high-profile cases in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security.
• Defend data privacy and security class actions, including claims under the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping, and data breaches.
• Manage significant projects and engage directly with clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates while contributing to the practice’s growth.
• Collaborate with a team of over 30 attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in privacy and data security litigation and/or regulatory investigations.
• Strong background in consumer protection issues and defending class actions.
• Proven ability to manage cases and lead client relationships.
• High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Tech fluency and the ability to engage with clients on complex matters.
