Responsibilities:

• Document Detective: Conduct thorough discovery in toxic tort cases, including reviewing documents, identifying key evidence, and managing discovery requests.
• Evidence Specialist: Gather, analyze, and organize evidence related to chemical exposures, contaminated water, hazardous waste, and other environmental hazards.
• Collaborative Partner: Work closely with litigation attorneys to develop and implement discovery strategies that support the overall case objectives.
• Client Communicator: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of discovery and any significant findings.
• Legal Researcher: Conduct detailed legal research to support discovery efforts and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Licensed Attorney: Actie MO and/or IL Bar license.
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in discovery, with a focus on toxic torts or environmental law preferred.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of documents and data.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in legal research, evidence analysis, and case development.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients and team members.
• Resilient and Methodical: Ability to handle challenging cases with patience and thoroughness, maintaining resilience under pressure.
