Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate, develop, and enforce legal and regulatory issues for large-scale industrial, electric utility, residential, and commercial projects
• Conduct factual investigations and legal research
• Develop cases and review records
• Collaborate with scientists on complex environmental matters
• Perform legal analysis and writing
• Engage in oral advocacy, motion practice, and brief writing

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
• 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental and land use law
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong desire to advocate for sustainable development and public service
• Ability to work collegially and contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture
