Looking to make a difference in civil defense? We seek a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our thriving General Liability Defense practice. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of general liability matters, with a focus on construction defect cases
• Collaborate with senior partners to develop effective litigation strategies
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the state bar
• Minimum of one year of experience in construction defense/general liability defense
• Preferred specialization in construction defect cases
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently

Experience

• Construction defect litigation
• Product liability and premises liability cases
• Drafting responses to discovery requests
• Taking and defending depositions

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $100,000 to $160,000 per year, based on relevant experience
• Additional bonus: $30 per hour for all hours worked
• Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) match and generous PTO plan

Work Arrangement

• Initially in-office, with potential transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
• Possibility of additional remote work days based on proven performance
