A boutique firm in Irvine, CA is seeking a litigation attorney to join its practice. The firm is growing and searching for attorneys with experience in the areas of insurance defense, medical malpractice, elder abuse, or worker’s compensation. They are looking for a team player with proven litigation and case management skills, superb legal analysis and writing abilities, and the ability to conduct depositions. They offer excellent benefits, an extremely collaborative work environment, with highly experienced support staff.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA school required
• Admitted to practice in the State of California
• 2+ years of civil defense litigation experience
• Experience with medical malpractice, insurance defense, workers’ compensation or elder abuse preferred
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Team player with great attitude and willingness to grow

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research, handle discovery, and analyze medical records
• Regularly attend court appearances, depositions, and meetings
• Communicate with clients and draft status reports
