Our client, a well-established and growing litigation firm, is seeking a Plaintiff-Side Medical Malpractice Attorney to join their growing team in Woodbridge Township, NJ. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering a salary range of $90-150k, depending on experience. The position is 100% onsite, so candidates must be commutable to Woodbridge Township. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator seeking a meaningful opportunity with long-term growth potential in a highly regarded practice.

 

Who We’re Looking For

Are you an experienced plaintiff-side attorney with a background in medical malpractice and nursing home neglect cases? In this role, you’ll advocate for victims of medical negligence and long-term care abuse, guiding clients through complex litigation with skill and compassion. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of relevant experience, strong litigation skills, and a passion for standing up to powerful institutional defendants on behalf of injured individuals.

 

What To Expect as a Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Attorney

  • Handle a caseload of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse/neglect cases from intake through trial or settlement
  • Conduct in-depth case evaluations and work closely with medical experts to build persuasive claims
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement agreements
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, treating providers, and expert witnesses
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
  • Collaborate closely with legal support staff to manage caseloads efficiently
  • Maintain consistent client communication and guide through every phase of litigation

 

Qualifications For Success

  • J.D. from ABA-approved law school
  • An active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey is required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience litigating plaintiff-side medical malpractice and/or nursing home neglect cases
  • Strong deposition and courtroom skills
  • Excellent legal writing and research ability
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple complex cases at once
  • Demonstrated commitment to advocating for injured plaintiffs and vulnerable populations

 

Salary Range: $90,000 – $150,000
