A leading law firm is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its team in San Diego. This position involves high-level patent litigation, including trial preparation, Markman hearings, technical product and patent analysis, discovery management, expert collaboration, and motion drafting. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Handle preparation and trial of patent matters.
• Conduct Markman hearings and manage technical product and patent analysis.
• Oversee discovery preparation and management.
• Work closely with experts and conduct depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to or eligibility for admission in California.
• 3+ years of patent litigation experience in district court and/or before the International Trade Commission.
• Preferred background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and engage professionally with clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Details:

• This position offers a comprehensive benefits package.
• Salary range: $260,000 to $390,000, bonus eligible.
• Requires 60% in-office presence.
