Responsibilities:

• Legal Champion: Provide expert legal representation and advice to women facing family law issues, including divorce, custody, domestic violence, and support.
• Women’s Advocate: Focus on supporting women seeking relief from domestic challenges, offering compassionate and comprehensive legal solutions.
• Client Counselor: Offer empathetic and confidential counsel, ensuring clients feel supported and understood throughout the legal process.
• Case Manager: Handle a diverse caseload with precision and care, from initial consultations through to resolution.
• Community Partner: Collaborate with shelter staff, social workers, and other community resources to provide comprehensive support to clients.

Requirements:

• Licensed Attorney: Active TX Bar License.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in family law, with a preference for those who have worked with domestic violence survivors or in a relief setting.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and compassionately to clients and stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in legal research, case preparation, and courtroom advocacy.
• Empathetic and Resilient: Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and maintain resilience in the face of challenging cases.
