Our Client 

• This client is a well-respected mid-size litigation firm that is looking to expand its Workers’ Compensation Defense team and they are seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their practice. The position begins in-office and transitions to hybrid after an initial period and you must be commutable to downtown Atlanta, GA. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with a great opportunity for growth within the organization.

What To Expect as a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation defense claims from inception to resolution
• Represent employers and insurers in hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Oversee discovery and draft legal documents, including motions and settlement agreements
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess risk
• Gain hands-on litigation experience with direct client interaction and courtroom exposure
  

Qualifications For Success

• J.D from ABA-approved law school
• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia
• Minimum 1 year litigation defense experience, preferably in workers’ compensation
• Proven ability to manage complex cases
  
• Strong ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery
• Outstanding analytical skills
  

Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000
