Compensation:

  • $75,000 – $100,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Work Expectations & Schedule:

  • This position requires regular physical presence in the office at least 3x per week, or more, depending on business needs or firm policy.

 

Candidate Parameters:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5-10 years of administrative legal experience in a litigation practice.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of litigation practice, including e-filing in federal and state courts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with technology.
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure and manage priorities effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Discretion when handling confidential matters.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as part of the legal support team.
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, trial, and post-trial.
  • Edit and format documents and pleadings, including motions, memoranda, subpoenas, and agreements.
  • Prepare and process electronic filings in federal and state court.
  • Organize pre-trial activities, including preparation of witness binders, trial exhibits, and coordination of depositions.
  • Maintain and organize case files and monitor docket calendars.
  • Manage attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, teleconferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide excellent telephone coverage, manage high call volume, and distribute messages appropriately.
  • Build strong client relationships through courteous communication with clients and co-workers.
  • Support day-to-day duties such as faxing, filing, copying, and messenger services.
  • Handle attorney expense reports and time entries via Chrome River and Intapp systems.
  • Assist with partner billing matters and prepare correspondence and presentation materials.
