Legal Assistant | Entertainment Law | Hybrid | 146587

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the lifecycle of production agreements, such as vendors, locations, crew members, department heads, music licenses, clearances, and the like.
• Draft, revise negotiate, and finalize a variety of agreements, legal documents, and correspondence for film, television, digital media, and new media talent.
• Communicate with entertainment labor unions such as SAG-AFTRA, DGA, and WGA.
• Conduct legal research and provide support on various legal matters related to media productions and labor union compliance.
• Maintain and update contract templates and status reports.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and firm policies.
• Demonstrate a positive, client-focused attitude in all client interactions.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, contract administrator, or the like in the entertainment industry.
• Working knowledge of entertainment law and media production processes.
• Law Firm experience desired, but not required.
• Experience in U.S. Copyright Office filings (e.g. Form PA, Document Recordation) desired, but not required.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000
