A national law firm focused exclusively on representing individuals affected by mesothelioma is seeking a? Trial Legal Assistant ?to join its Chicago office. In this role, you will support trial teams during trial preparation and proceedings. The firm is searching for energetic, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals for this on-site position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, from initiation to trial.
• Drafting various legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and interrogatories.
  
• Managing client files, and calendars, and providing updates on case status.
  
• Conducting thorough legal research, including court rules and procedures.
• Collaborating on trial preparation, including organizing trial binders, coordinating with experts and opposing counsel, and liaising with court personnel.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively, potentially for 3-4 weeks at a time for trials.

Previous Experience Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience in asbestos law or a trial setting as a legal assistant.
