Mission Recruiting is seeking a Civil Litigation Legal Assistant for a national law firm’s San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will support the firm’s complex civil litigation practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation
- Conduct legal research and writing
- Coordinate complex motion practice filings
- Perform cite and fact checking
- File and serve documents
- Communicate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and clients
Requirements
- Some experience in complex civil litigation
- Proficiency with e-discovery database tools
- Knowledge of Bluebook rules and California Style Manual (preferred)
- Research, writing, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills
