Key Responsibilities

 

Administrative Support:

  • Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Prepare and file probate petitions, trust documents, and court submissions.
  • Maintain organized physical/digital files, including client records and case materials.

 

Client Communication:

  • Respond to client inquiries, draft correspondence, and provide updates.
  • Assist with client intake, gather financial/legal information, and ensure timely follow-ups.

 

Document Preparation:

  • Format and finalize legal documents (trusts, wills, powers of attorney) for attorney review.
  • Prepare templates, forms, and exhibits for court filings or client meetings.

 

Office Coordination:

  • Liaise with court clerks, financial institutions, and third-party vendors.
  • Track deadlines, manage mail/deliveries, and ensure compliance with office procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in legal administrative roles, preferably in trusts, estates, or probate.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
