We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Estate Planning and Business Law Paralegal to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our attorneys to deliver top-tier legal services to our clients across estate planning and business law matters.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather pertinent information for estate planning and business law cases.
  • Prepare and file business formation documents including articles of incorporation, bylaws, operating agreements, and partnership agreements.
  • Maintain organized client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all documents.
  • Aid in estate administration, including the preparation of probate documents and management of deadlines.
  • Coordinate with clients to collect necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for client meetings and consultations.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations in estate planning and business law practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited program, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in estate planning and/or business law.
  • Profound understanding of estate planning and business law procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Personable demeanor with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
