A well-established law firm in San Jose is seeking a skilled Estate Planning Paralegal to join their team. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to support multiple attorneys. The ideal candidate will work independently, managing tasks from initiation to completion with exceptional attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare probate estate and trust administration documentation
  • Draft trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and deeds
  • Communicate with clients regarding trust and probate estate administration processes

 

Candidate Requirements

Education:

  • Paralegal Certificate or a degree in Paralegal Studies required
  • A Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of experience as a trust and estate planning paralegal
  • Strong background in estate planning, probate, and trust administration

Work Expectations

  • This position is onsite in San Jose and does not offer hybrid or remote work options
