Patent Agent | Life Sciences Bio/Chem | 146714 | Redwood City, CA

We are seeking a highly qualified science advisor/patent agent to join our dynamic Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies group. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting patent applications and office action responses, conducting prior art database searches for patentability and freedom to operate analyses, and/or performing due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong academic credentials, and an M.D. or Ph.D. in biology or chemistry. Law firm experience and USPTO patent bar membership are highly preferred.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $135,000 – $150,000
• Additional bonuses and benefits are available based on performance and other factors.
