Employment Litigation Associate

 

A growing litigation practice is seeking an attorney with employment litigation experience to join a collaborative team environment.

 

Practice Focus

  • Approximately 80% plaintiff-side employment litigation
  • Approximately 20% general business litigation

 

Responsibilities

  • Draft settlement and demand letters
  • Prepare complaints and motions
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Respond to discovery requests
  • Assist with trial preparation
  • Attend trials with a supervising attorney

 

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years of employment litigation experience
  • Experience with matters involving FEHA, wrongful termination, PAGA, wage and hour claims, whistleblower claims, or similar employment disputes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Compensation

  • Junior Associate: up to $150,000
  • Mid-Level Associate: up to $160,000
  • Highly Qualified Attorneys: $170,000–$180,000
  • Discretionary bonus opportunities

Schedule

  • Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

 

Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000
