Attorney – Estate Planning – San Rafael

A fantastic opportunity is available for an Estate Planning Attorney to join a San Rafael office in support of anticipated growth. This position is intended for an attorney who can independently manage estate planning matters while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role offers a structured environment with dedicated support staff, a collaborative culture, and a clearly defined path toward long-term advancement.

Role Overview:

Draft and review estate planning documents, including trusts and wills

Provide ongoing client counsel and relationship management

Handle trust administration matters as applicable

Work independently while collaborating with internal team members

Meet billable expectations of approximately 1,300 hours annually

 

Qualifications:

Active California Bar license in good standing

Minimum 3 years of estate planning experience in California

Trust administration experience preferred

Experience working with high-net-worth clients is beneficial but not required

Strong communication and client management skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Compensation & Bonus Structure:

Base salary range: $130,000 – $160,000 for target candidates

Higher compensation available for more senior attorneys

Bonus tied to productivity (approximately 1,300 billable hours annually)

10% origination bonus

Additional bonus structure details to be confirmed

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
