A confidential Orlando law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 5+ years of substantive defense-side commercial litigation experience.
Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school; active Florida Bar membership in good standing; experience drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court. LexisNexis experience required.
Responsibilities:
Handle commercial litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution. Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, handle depositions, appear in state and federal court, and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
Compensation / Schedule:
Salary is $140,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience. Bonus opportunities are available. The role is onsite for the first 90 days, with potential hybrid flexibility afterward.
